Holiday play worker

Montessori Teacher vacancy -up to 5 days per week 8.00am-5pm, 50 weeks per year, though we can be flexible on the number of days for an outstanding candidate.

Full time salary £26000-£28000 per year

We are inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia, both approaches honour the child and allow them to lead us in their learning journey.

Your main responsibility will be to safeguard the children in our care and to provide a very high quality of teaching and care for children aged 1-5 years, delivered using Montessori approach and within the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

If you are qualified and have a passion and a dedication for working with young children, we can't wait to hear from you!

All candidates will need to provide two satisfactory references.

In addition, the nursery will carry out a DBS check.

The salary offered will be dependant on the level of qualification you hold.

We are looking for a Play Worker to join us at holiday club during the school holidays.

In the role of Play Worker, you will be:

  • Ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment for all children at the club.
  • Engaging effectively with the children during their time in the club.
  • Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children both inside and outside.
  • Able to readily move between different clubs, sometimes at short notice.
  • Assisting with the setup of the club so it's ready for when the children arrive and that any snacks are prepared.
  • Thoroughly enjoying your role and making each day count for the children in our care.
  • Working together to keep up with housekeeping jobs at the club to ensure a clean and welcoming environment from everyone.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships and communications with parents and carers.
  • Salary dependant on age - all applicants must be 18+
